About:

Dr. Monzon was born in Zaragoza, Spain, was raised in Puerto Rico, and speaks fluent Spanish. He attended high school in Asheville, North Carolina where he learned English.

Dr. Monzon has practiced dentistry since 1992 in the Illinois Valley. He believes that every person should be treated as one of his own family, with gentle care, compassion, and to the best of his abilities. He strives to foster a warm, welcoming, positive, and supportive environment for all. It is important for him to take the time to listen to all his patient’s needs and wants, to develop a long-term personal relationship, and tailor treatment to each individual.

Dr. Monzon believes in volunteering for his community and for those less fortunate. He enjoys hiking, bicycling, snorkeling and SCUBA diving, photography, traveling, fishing, hunting, jazz, blues, and a good cup of coffee.
